From time to time
amongst the workers of the Gospel, disharmony establishes itself
trying to put one against another on behalf of true in which each
person believes to possess.
Mind is influenced
by clever manoeuvres from sophism, which spreads suspicion in an
inglorious combat. Still, some people make themselves truly
mercenaries of vanity or other miserable passions.
They seems to
defend noble causes and superior ideals, they propagate evil instead
extinguishing it. They get pleasure disseminating wrong advises.
They dedicate
themselves to evil. They never a word of stimulus for a dignified
cause. However, they resolve swamps until find enough material for
they furious aggressions.
They are the
promoters of destruction on the programmes of Goodness.
In the same way
that it is not right to act against the Law, let alone correct to show
other’s mistake generating embarrassment and chaos.
If you have
anything against someone, go and talk to him with frankness and
cordiality.
If you make
yourself inspector of someone or any cause, do not be a public relator
of their blemishing.
Search for the
responsible one and as you talk to him, make sure edifying feelings of
help envelops your words.
Do your task of
clarifying by helping in the same way as correcting by educating.
On behalf of the
truth, do not take anyone to a public execration – in order to get
applause from those who identify themselves with scandal and like
them, getting pleasure with their misfortune.
As a Christian,
remember the teachings of Jesus which says: Moreover if your brother
shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and
him alone: if he shall hear you, so hast gained your brother. If he
does not want to hear you, take some witness and try it again. If he
refuses to hear you, gather the church and explain the fact. If he
remains ding wrong, so then you can inform community.
The Codifier of
Spiritism equally referred himself to the subject as considering that
we have right to reprimand those who incur in serious mistakes and
behave badly, as long as it preferably takes into consideration the
interests of majority.
However, do not
forget that it is necessary scandal, but woe to that man by whom the
scandal is provoked.
Jesus, who knew
our failings and imperfections, had never been worried in divulging
such mistakes, including those from who tried to perturb his pathway.
He had never given
up teaching, correcting and supporting us. He was always giving
opportunity of edification to those who were living a dishonest life
without showing their blemishes in public.
Clarifying by
helping.
Never scandal,
because it perturbs and conspires against the peace of everyone, but
destroying it inclusive in yourself.
